Then "Perfect Peonies" workshop is for you! Designed for all levels of green thumb, peony-enthusiasts this workshop will fill you with the knowledge and inspiration to expand your peony beds!
This 2.5 hour intensive will be co-taught by flower farmers and owners of Electric Moon Peony Farm, David Rockermann & Anne Kubik and floral designer and owner of The Local Bouquet, Mary Kate Kinnane. Attendees will learn how to plant and maintain late spring’s most coveted and romantic bloom, the peony. This workshop also includes hands on design time, lead by Mary Kate. Each attendee will learn how to design a centerpiece filled with Electric Moon's peonies and other seasonal blooms and foliages, all sourced from local farms.
This class will be hosted by David and Anne on their 3.6 acre peony farm in Adamsville, Rhode Island. Participants will have the opportunity to learn first hand about a variety of topics while surrounded by breathtaking views of their farm, which includes 50 different peony varieties.
Light refreshments will be served throughout the workshop and all materials and supplies will be provided. Each attendee will be able to take home their own centerpiece and other treats!
For the first time ever, David and Anne would like to invite our attendees to stay after our "Perfect Peonies" class has finished for a relaxed family dinner amongst the peonies! Plan to stay with us for pizza and drinks to continue the conversations and ask more questions to your farmer and your florist. This is where the real magic happens and you will have the opportunity to build your community. What could be better than pizza and peonies?!
